Diego de la Hoya looks to cap what has been a stellar 2015 run as he faces Giovanni Delgado in a scheduled eight-round bout Friday evening at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The bout marks the fifth ring appearance on the year for de la Hoya (12-0, 7KOs), who is coming off of a 10-round virtual shutout over Jesus Ruiz in September. The 21-year old boxer from Mexicali - whose cousin is Hall of Fame boxer-turned promoter Oscar de la Hoya fights in Las Vegas for just the third time in his young career, having mainly fought out of California.

Delgado (15-3, 9KOs) fights for just the second time outside of his native Mexico. His lone other stateside appearance came in his last bout, a 10-round loss to Joseph 'JoJo' Diaz in May.

Also on the telecast:
  • John Karl Sosa (13-0, 6KOs) faces durable spoiler Alan Sanchez (16-3-1, 8KOs) in an eight round welterweight bout. Both fighters weighed 146.4 lbs;
  • Horacio Garcia (29-1, 20KOs) and Raul Hidalgo (24-13, 18KOs) square off in a super bantamweight bout slated for eight rounds. Both fighters weighed 123.4 lbs. for the televised opener.

Remaining bouts on the show - including a middleweight bout involving hot prospect Jason Quigley - will be streamed live on RingTVLive.com.
