With former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez in his corner, mandatory challenger Daniel Estrada (32-2-1, 24KOs) is feeling very confident about his chances to upset the undefeated WBC lightweight champion of the world, Omar Figueroa (23-0-1, 17KOs), on August 16th at StubHub Center in Carson, California. The fight will open up a Showtime televised tripleheader from the venue. Estrada stresses that he is already in excellent shape for the challenge ahead.

Marquez is going to work Estrada corner's on the night of the fight and he's helping put together the perfect strategy to bring the title back home. Estrada believes he is much stronger than Figueroa and he plans to prove that early.

"Figueroa is an excellent fighter and very valiant champion, but my strategy is to come forward for the entire fight and look for the victory. I will show that I have more strength than him," promised Estrada. "I feel very comfortable with this weight and I am in great shape since I've started working with Juan."
