Daniel "Tremendo" Estrada (32-2-1, 24KOs) will face WBC lightweight champion Omar Figueroa (23-0-1, 17KOs) on August 16th at StubHub Center in Carson, California, and he'll fight his heart out in the memory of his beloved sister.

This week has been one of the most difficult ever for Daniel, as he suffered the terrible loss of her sister and niece, who were involved in a car accident on the Acapulco-Mexico highway.

"It's very hard what is happening now. I gotta be close to my family. This fight will be dedicated to my sister, who before she passed away at the hospital, told me to follow my dreams and to fight hard with all my strength to conquer the world championship," vowed Danny.

"My sister always supported me. She was always at my fights, since I started as amateur and also as professional. I know my sister is still with me, but now from  another place. This is an unbelievably difficult time for me. But I have to be totally concentrated for this fight, because I want to be champion and I want to dedicate the title to her!"

Estrada will travel six days prior to the bout, as he'll have to take a series of medical tests in California.
