Erol Ceylan started European Commitment Boxing, known as EC Boxing, eight years ago and it´s been a somewhat shaky journey but right now things look pretty bright for Ceylan and his team.
EC Boxing got its first world champion in light heavyweight Igor Michalkin, who recently won the IBO title and is good enough to hold his own against the best, another light heavyweight Karo Murat just won the EBU title. Heavyweight Christian Hammer, during the last season, has beaten the likes of Erkan Teper and David Price and is close to a shot at the WBO title. And coming up in the ranks are heavyweights Ali Eren Demirezen and Agron Skamici along with Adrian Granat.
