WBC junior welterweight champion Erik Morales (52-7, 36KOs) is still considering a drop in weight to pursue a fifth world title at 135-pounds. Morales will defend his title in Texas on March 24th against undefeated Danny Garcia (22-0, 14KOs). Morales, 35-years-old, wants to capture at least one final title before retirement - and a sixth is also possible.
"We plan to make a defense of my title next year and then move to another division. I'm the super lightweight world champion and next year I plan to go for the lightweight title - it would be my fifth title in a different division. After that I won't rule out going in search of my sixth [title]," Morales said.
