Based on what he feels was a robbery in his last outing, former champion Erik "El Terrible" Morales will look for a knockout victory when he enters the ring on September 17 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Morales will face 24-year-old British boxer Anthony Crolla at 140-pounds. Morales (51-7, 35 KO's) va. Crolla (21-2, 9 knockouts) is part of the big HBO pay-per-view featuring Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. "Vicious" Victor Ortiz in the main event.

Father and trainer José "Olivaritos" Morales said his son is not taking any chances this time around and plans to start faster and finish the fight with a knockout when the opportunity arises. Morales will soon head to the Otomi Ceremonial Center to start training camp.

"My son's preparation will be just as strong or even stronger than it was for his fight against Marcos Maidana. The preparation in the Otomi, you know, is the strongest becauser there are no distractions and we can make the right kind of training. Erik must fight smart and win conclusively. Our concern is the judges, because in his fight with Maidana they weren't fair with him," he said.
