Erik Morales is chasing that fourth title in a fourth weight division. The Mexican champion has claimed titles at super bantamweight, featherweight and super featherweight. He returns on September 11 against Willie Limond. He wants to become the first Mexican to win four titles in four weight classes.

After Limond, Morales plans to fight once more in Tijuana before the year is over and then he wants to challenge Juan Manuel Marquez for the WBO/WBA lightweight titles. He says the fight he wants most is against Marquez. Morales says he approached Golden Boy Promotions about a fight with Marquez in Mexico's Azteca Stadium which holds 100,000 fans. He said Golden Boy is interested in the fight. Marquez is likely going to defend his titles against Michael Katsidis on November 27.

"I hope to finish the fight against Willie Limond on September 11 with my arms raised, and at the end the year I plan to take a fight in Tijuana complete three matches for the year in my comeback," Morales said. "I spoke to Golden Boy Promotions about Marquez and they are interested in that fight."
