Former three division champion Erik Morales has advised several media outlets in Mexico that Golden Boy Promotions is interested in working with him. Morales returned in March after a near three-year layoff to win a unanimous decision over Jose Alfaro. He wants to fight again in July.

No surprise if Morales decides to sign with Golden Boy. His dream fight is an all-Mexican showdown with Juan Manuel Marquez, who is under contract with Golden Boy. Morales' other dream is to become the first Mexican fighter to win four major title belts in four weight divisions. He returned in March as a welterweight but plans to settle down at 140-pounds. Golden Boy has several of the top junior welterweights under contract, including Amir Khan, Victor Ortiz and Marcos Maidana.
