Junior middleweight Eric Walker will face Joshua Okine on December 10, promoter Matt McGovern confirmed to BoxingScene.com Thursday morning.

The 10 round bout will take place at the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino and Hotel in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Walker (13-0, 6 KOs) defeated Josue Obando by unanimous decision in his last bout on June 25. Walker defeated Christopher Pearson by unanimous decision in his previous fight on December 18.

Walker, who resides in nearby Plaquemine, made his pro debut at the age of 30 after serving a 13-year prison term in a Louisiana penitentiary.

“This is such a solid bout between a future world champion in Eric Walker and a very game opponent in Okine,” said McGovern. “

Okine (29-7-1, 17 KOs) snapped a three-bout losing streak in his last bout on October 19, defeating George Amuzu by unanimous decision over eight rounds.

The 36-year-old Okine has fought as a pro since 2000.

Super middleweight Manjaro Hill, Jr. (5-0) will face Jay Williams (3-8) in a six round bout.

Unbeaten heavyweights Hasan Henderson (6-0, 4 KOs) and Steven Lyons (2-0) will square off in a four round bout.
