The organizers of the event to be presented on May 27 in Levis, and staged by the Boxing Club in Lévis and InterBox, have put together an interesting heavyweight battle. According to available information, 29-year-old heavyweight Eric Martel-Bahoeli (6-0-0) will likely face Ukrainian Andriy Ivanov (5-6-0).
In his last battle fought on December 18 at the Pepsi Coliseum on the undercard of Jean Pascal-Bernard Hopkins, Martel-Bahoeli recorded a victory over the Puerto Rican Ruben Rivera, who had previously picked up a win over prospect John Wayne. As for Ivanov, since moving to Montreal he kncoked out Sylvera Louis, and then defeated Stephane Tessier. He had previously fought the majority of his fights in Florida and in Ukraine.
The former WBO Inter-Continental bantamweight champion Sebastien Gauthier (19-2-0) should also be included on the card, as well as Sébastien Bouchard, who then would then be making his professional debut.
