BoxingScene.com has been advised that the NABO super featherweight champion Eloy "The Prince" Perez (17-0-2) is scheduled to return to the ring on August 13th versus an opponent to be determined at the Commerce Casino in Commerce, California. The bout will be the main event of Golden Boy's "Solo Boxeo" series that is broadcast by Telefutura.
Perez, who fights out of Salinas, California is coming off a victory over veteran Gilberto Sanchez Leon on the undercard of Mayweather-Mosley. BoxingScene's Jake Donovan earlier reported that Sanchez Leon tested positive for steroids after the fight.
