DOVER, Del.  Dover Downs Hotel & Casino is hosting a professional boxing card at the Rollins Center® on February 24 at 7 p.m.The event will feature six total matches with the main event promising to be one the best ever fought at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino as Rodney Jones (36-3-1, 22 KOs) faces Raul Frank (27-4-2, 13 K0s) in a 12-round junior middleweight elimination bout to determine the IBF #1 contender for Roman Karmazin's title. The contest will be a rematch of an October 1, 2005 fight that ended in a draw.

Tickets range from $30 to $80 and can be purchased through VIP Services at 1-800-711-5882. Dover Downs Hotel & Casino executive vice president and chief operating officer Ed Sutor thinks the card will be one of the most balanced the Rollins Center® has seen.

"To host a 12-round elimination bout is all we can ask for", Mr. Sutor said. "Our boxing events have always been popular, but this one may end up being one of our most entertaining."

Six scheduled undercard bouts will include an all-out Wilmington battle between Larry Marks and Clarence "Sonny Bono" Taylor.  Marks was an established pro when Taylor started boxing at the same gym.  Sonny learned many techniques from Marks during sparring sessions at the Elsmere Boxing Gym  Bono is 9-7, while Marks (27-7-0, 16 KOs) has challenged for the world title.  It will also feature several prominent regional fighters with energetic followers: Mark Brown (4-0-0,1 KO) of Salem, N.J., and Richard Stewart (6-1-0, 5K Os) who faces Philly's Glen Turner, 9-2, in a cruiserweight test for both.

Jones is the current NABF Junior Middleweight Champion and is ranked #3 by the WBO, #5 by the IBF, #7 by the WBC and #10 by the WBA.
