BoxingScene.com has learned that Warriors Boxing will team up with Lou DiBella on November 11 to bring "Broadway Boxing" to the Hard Rock Seminole Casino in Hollywood, Florida. DiBella usually runs the Broadway Boxing shows in New York City.
The headline bout will feature the return of super middleweight Edison Miranda who looks to rebound from June's knockout loss to Arthur Abraham. Middleweight James "Buddy" McGirt Jr. is scheduled to appear on the card in the co-headline position.
I hear there is a slight chance that light heavyweight contender Glen Johnson will see action on the show in a keep-busy fight. If Johnson fights on the card, he would probably take over as the headliner with Miranda becoming the co-feature.
Speaking of Johnson, I hear his possible fight with Shaun George may land on Showtime in early 2009. Talks are ongoing.
