Edis Tatli Will Return on 11/21, No Defense on 11/28

EBU lightweight champion Edis Tatli (25-1) will not go through with a voluntary defence on November 28 with Sauerland as promoter. The fight was announced by the EBU earlier this month. Instead Tatli will fight a non-title eight-rounder November 21 in Helsinki against an opponent to be announced.
Tatli´s fight for November 28 was never officially announced by Team Sauerland.
The mandatory challenger for Tatli is Italian Emiliano Marsili and the purse bids for Tatli vs Marsili were postponed due to the planned voluntary defence. What will happen next in this matter is a good question.
