EBU lightweight champion Edis Tatli (25-1) will, according to the EBU, make a voluntary defense of the title on November 28. Neither site nor opponent is announced.
Tatli´s defense will, again according to the EBU, be promoted by Sauerland Event.
Both Nisse Sauerland and Edis Tatli´s manager (and brother) Suke Tatli have declined to comment on this.
However, there are rumors with substance to it of a Sauerland show in the Helsinki region November 28.
Tatli has a mandatory challenger in former EBU champ Emiliano Marsili and purse bids were set for November 10 but have been pushed back to a later date.
In other Sauerland related news, German light heavyweight Enrico Koelling (18-1) was added to the undercard of Feigenbutz vs. De Carolis, which takes place today. Koelling marks time on the undercard with a fight against Karel Horejsek (4-3-1).
Koelling was first set to fight on the planned September 26 show but that was later cancelled.
