EBU lightweight champion Edis Tatli (25-1) will make a voluntary defence of the title early September in Helsinki. The opponent is yet to be announced. Tatli has been sidelined with a hand injury since winning the title in April against Yvan Mendy but is now ready to go again.

The hand was injured during training camp, but Edis brushed it off and went through with the Mendy fight and came through as the clear winner.

Tatli´s sole loss came against WBA lightweight champion Richar Abril of Cuba.
