Espoo, Finland - EBU lightweight Edis Tatli (27-1) retained the title with a unanimous decision over Italian challenger Massimiliano Ballisai (20-3) in the headliner and show closer. After twelve rounds of boxing the judges had it 118-110 twice and 117-111 for Tatli.

WBC super featherweight female champion Eva Wahlstrom (17-0-1) retained her title with a unanimous decision over Dominican Dahiana Santana (35-7) on scores of 99-91 twice and 98-92.

Super middleweight Niklas Rasanen (12-0) knocked out French veteran Matiouze Royer (14-24-5) in the second of a scheduled six-rounder. The talented Rasanen have been sidelined with an injury for the last few months.

Lightweight Tuomo Eronen (15-4) took out Serif Gurdjieljac (7-3) in the fifth. 

Middleweight Ricardo Morales (2-0) opened Maeki Boxing´s show at the Metro Arena tonight with a four round unanimous decision over Latvian Jurijs Ivanovs (8-31-2. It was scored 40-36, 40-36 and 39-37.

Heavyweight Gennadi Mentsikainen (2-0) won a majority decision over Dusan Krstin (5-3) after four. The judges had it 39-37, 40-36 and 38-38.

Lightweight Emmanuel Amiot (2-1) upset Jesse Jouhki (3-1) and stopped him in the third. It was scheduled for four.

Super welterweight Nordeen Toure (6-1) won clearly over Swedish-based Ugandan Michael Obin (5-6) after six. It was scored 60-54 twice and 60-55.

In Bucharest EC Boxing´s big Swedish heavyweight Adrian Granat (now 12-0, 11KOs) stopped Austrian survivor Samir Kurtagic in the sixth of a scheduled eight rounder. Kurtagic lost his fourth straight but this was the first time he was stopped inside the distance.
