Promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions has a lot of big ideas in store for former champion Edgar Sosa (49-8, 29KOs), who dropped a wide twelve round unanimous decision earlier this month to WBC flyweight king Akira Yaegashi of Japan.

Some of ideas being kicked around include rematches with Giovani Segura and Brian Viloria. In May of this year, Sosa won a twelve round decision over Segura in a tough twelve round fight. Segura has bounced back strong with a knockout victory over previously undefeated prospect Jonathan Gonzalez of Puerto Rico. Sosa defeated Viloria back in 2007 by majority decision. Viloria has been inactive since losing his WBA/WBO titles to Juan Francisco Estrada in April.

"I feel fine and raring to go for two more years in boxing. I will rest for the remainder of the year and in January I'll hit the gym. I'm waiting to hear back from my promoter Fernando Beltran and we'll discuss [the possibilities and details of] my next fight," Sosa said.
