Former champion Edgar Sosa will return on January 7th in Mexico, making a defense of his WBC International flyweight title. Ricardo Maldonado and Eric Reider will promote the card and Televisa will broadcast. The opponent will be announced sooon.
The 32-year-old Sosa (43-7, 26 knockouts) returns to the ring for the first time after traveling to Thailand in October and losing a decision to WBC champion Pongsaklek Wojongkam.
"I hope 2012 is a big and productive year for my career, and I hope to win another world title," Sosa said.
