Heavyweight contender Eddie Chambers (36-2, 18KOs) would not entirely rule out a future run in the cruiserweight division. Chambers has fought as a heavyweight for his entire career, and weighed as high as 223-pounds, but recently he slimmed down and his weight has averaged around 208-pounds for his last three fights. The cruiserweight limit is 200 and many experts believe Chambers is capable of making the limit.

Inactive since last February, Chambers is waiting to return to the ring. The boxer has been plagued by injuries, which forced the cancellation of a previously scheduled IBF title eliminator against Tony Thompson.

Only heavyweight champions Wladimir Klitschko and Alexander Povetkin have beaten Chambers. At cruiserweight, there are many talented fighters like Yoan Pablo Hernandez, Antonio Tarver, Denis Lebedev, Krzysztof Wlodarczyk, and several others.

"I got my doctor's permission to resume training, so I spent all weekend at the gym. At my current weight, I am ready to appear at heavyweight and cruiserweight."
