Welterweight Dusty Hernandez-Harrison is off the Roc Nation card tomorrow night, the unbeaten fighter told BoxingScene.com late Friday morning.
Hernandez-Harrison was scheduled to fight on the HBO Latino telecast, which will air from the Osceola Heritage Center in Kissimmee, Florida.
Hernandez-Harrison, who is only 21 years of age and has a record of 28-0, 15 KOs, was originally scheduled to fight Steve Claggett, but the fighter from Canada withdrew from the fight due to alleged visa issues.
According to Hernandez-Harrison, Roc Nation found two opponents: Santos Benavidez and Samuel Amoako. However, HBO reportedly turned those two opponents down.
Hernandez-Harrison, who resides in Washington, D.C., is signed with Roc Nation and recently signed an endorsement deal with Fila. He has fought four times in 2015 and recently fought on ESPN2 and Fox Sports 1 telecasts.
With Hernandez-Harrison off the card, HBO Latino will now air only two fights. In the main event, featherweight Wilfredo Vazquez (24-5-1, 19 KOs) will fight Rafael Rivera (20-0-2, 14 KOs). Light heavyweight Alexander Brand (24-1, 19 KOs) faces Medzhid Bektemirov (16-0, 12 KOs).
Both fights are scheduled for 10 rounds.
