Welterweight hopeful Dusty Harrison last fought in September when he decisioned Thomas "Cornflake" Lamanna at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
So what's next for the native of Washington, D.C.?
"I don't have a fight scheduled but I'm looking around," he said on Friday afternoon, while at the weigh-in for the Vasyl Lomachenko-Jason Sosa bout which took place at the MGM National Harbor in Oxen Hill, Maryland.
"I told Roc Nation (Sports) I'm ready to step it up. I want to build off my last fight, I won the USBA title.I want to take that and get a bigger fight. I spent 2015 taking fights that I don't think helped develop me. But I want more difficult fights to help me get to the next level."
Roc Nation is promoting the June 17th rematch between Andre Ward and Sergey Kovalev, which will take place at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Harrison says this hasn't been mentioned but said he is certainly interested in appearing on this show.
The handlers of Miguel Cotto are stating that Roc Nation is planning a show around him on June 24, possibly at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. It's not clear if Harrison will be added to the undercard of either event.
Regardless, Harrison (30-0-1, 16 KO's) wants to get back into the ring. Recently, he was scheduled to appear on a small club show in Washington DC but pulled out of that date.
"Hopefully something comes up this summer," he told BoxingScene.com. "It's already been the longest layoff of my career. Part of it was that my wrist was hurt. I was hurt for two months, other than that I've been ready, waiting."
