Dulorme, Perez HBO Triple in The Works For October 27

BoxingScene.com has been advised that an HBO tripleheader is being planned for October 27th. The card will be a prospect based show that is similar to the October 29th show that Lou DiBella has put together for the next work. DiBella's card will consist of Edwin Rodriguez versus Jason Escalera, Vic Darchinyan versus Orlando Del Valle, and Isaac Chilemba versus Zsolt Erdei.

The October show belongs to promoter Gary Shaw. According to multiple sources in Puerto Rico, blue chip welterweight prospect Thomas Dulorme (15-0, 12KOs) will be on the card. Barring cuts or injuries, Dulorme will secure his position by defeating Ivan Hernandez on August 31st in his hometown of Carolina, Puerto Rico. Another name being mentioned as a possibility for the bill is Colombian slugger Darley Perez (25-0, 19KOs) who faces Bahodir Mamadjonov later tonight on ESPN's Friday Night Fights.

Honestly, I would have liked to see Thomas get a bit longer of a chance to fight his way out, but it is what it is. Lets see what they decide to do with TD next.

I hope you're right, lets hope he is able to comeback like Lennox Lewis did, he definitely has the tools to do so. At least he didn't get busted up like Del Valle. However, I didn't have a problem with Orlandito staying in there, and I wouldn't have minded if Dulorme's corner kept him in there either. You can't duplicate that situation in training and the emotion that gathers within the fighter, that sense of fear/tension. Do you keep a young fighter in there to finish the fight on their own like Orlandito, or do you take them out like Dulorme? Very tough decision to make for the trainer.

It's kinda sad that it happened this way, but it's something that he can grow from, only a minor setback. I hope you're right, lets hope he is able to comeback like Lennox Lewis did, he definitely has the tools to do so.

He is only 22 and has had only 15 fights. How about we have some patience with our bright prospects and let them take their time to develop right. I hate bumping up old threads, but why does no one ever listen to me. *SIGH*
