World rated Bantamweight Duke Micah is eyeing a ring return in the near future, as the 2012 London Olympian has parted ways with former promoters Real Deal Boxing and now has big plans for the future.

Now promotionally free, Micah is eyeing some of the world's biggest names and discussed his link up with famed trainer Andre Rozier in Brooklyn as well as his plans going forward.

The Ghanaian opened up, "Firstly I always have to thank God and my manager Michael Amoo-Bediako Sr for giving me these opportunities and giving me the chance to train with Andre Rozier in America. Andre is an amazing trainer and he has made me such a better fighter since I have been with him. I have become a much-improved fighter and it will show when I return to the ring as a completely changed boxer.

"I want to thank my manager Michael Amoo-Bediako Snr as well as Andre Rozier for helping sort out the issues around my career and I am now excited to move forward and become world bantamweight champion like I believe I can do.

"I believe that I am one of the most exciting bantamweights on the planet and if I am given the opportunity to show off my skills then I will show the world that I am the present and the future of the bantamweight division. I will fight anyone at bantamweight it doesn't bother me I just want to become world champion and I will fight the likes of Inoue and Donaire if I needed too."

The big punching Ghanaian is trained by one of the masterminds of US boxing, Andre Rozier. Rozier gave his take on his charge Micah and outlined some of the plans he had for his fighter.

Rozier said, "Duke is a world class fighter who lives in the gym. He is always working hard in the gym and always improving. He still spars world class fighters on a regular basis and I believe he will follow in the footsteps of stablemate and fellow countryman Richard Commey in becoming a world champion."

Micah's manager Michael Amoo-Bediako Snr also added, "Duke has had an unfortunate 12 months but that is behind him now and our plan is to get him straight back into all of the world ratings and work towards getting him an opportunity at the world bantamweight title.

"It was a natural move to make to link Duke up with Andre Rozier who has done an amazing job with Richard Commey and those are the footsteps I want Duke to follow in, and I truly believe he will accomplish a world title like Richard.

"Duke is a tremendous talent who can punch and can box and fight fans all over the world will love his style. He is not one for the future he is one for the present so we will be looking to keep Duke active as he works towards gaining a shot at a world title."
