Anderson Silva shook off the boo birds from the opening round and silenced his critics less than three minutes later. The 50-year-old legendary MMA figure scored a 2nd round stoppage of fellow former UFC champ-turned-boxer Tyron Woodley.
Silva literally stomped his right foot, touched his shoe and then launched an uppercut that badly rocked Woodley. A subsequent flurry proved to be window dressing as Woodley was out on his feet and eventually face first on the canvas.
Woodley tried to beat the count but referee Samuel Burgos disallowed the bout to continue.
Official time 1:33 of round two.
