Alycia Baumgardner has not scored a knockout since her November 2021 dethroning of then-WBC 130lbs titlist Terri Harper.
She appears to be on her way to a stoppage tonight. Baumgardner floored Leila Beaudoin with a perfectly timed right hand, just before the bell to end the 7th round.
Beaudoin beat the count but question remains how much more she can endure. A mouse continues to worsen under her left eye, while Baumgardner looks fresh and still with plenty in the gas tank.
