A couple of former New Zealand Cricket teammates will go toe to toe in Auckland this month as part of the Fight for Life charity boxing event. 44 year-old Simon Doull's putting on the gloves against 43 year-old Chris Cairns who's already seeing the benefits of Monty Betham's training regime. Both Cairns and Doull are newcomers to the boxing ring and have two more weeks to hone their skills before the fight on December 15th.

"I've lost about 16 kilograms getting down to some respectable type of frame so that was a good motivating factor," Cairns said.
