Junior featherweight Nonito Donaire last fought on April 23rd where he blew out Zsolt Bedak in three rounds in defense of his WBO super bantamweight title. Now, he looks ahead for his next assignment.

"We have the mandatory which is Jessie Magdaleno and whatever it is, whatever opportunity is out there, I've always been the type to be willing to fight anybody that they give me,"said Donaire on Saturday night at the MGM Grand where he was in attendance for the Terence Crawford-Viktor Postol fight.

The fact that Magdaleno has had persistent problems in making weight (and just recently changed trainers) concerns Donaire, who's record now stands at 37-3 (24 KO's).

''It does," he admitted. "It takes the quality of the boxing game down. But that's pretty much it, he just has to do it. He has to make it happen or he's going to pay for it."

Donaire-Magdaleno should be a relatively easy fight to make given that both are under the Top Rank banner.
