Unbeaten prospect Domonique ‘3D’ Dolton has become the latest to join the growing stable of high-powered adviser Al Haymon.

The addition of Haymon wasn’t the only change for 25-year old super welterweight from Detroit, although other modifications to his daily routing include returning things to where they were. Having cut his boxing teeth at the famed Kronk Gym under the tutelage of the late Emanuel Steward, Dolton (15-0, 8KOs) has brought trainer Javan ‘Sugar’ Hill back into the fold.

“There are a lot of great fights that we can make at (154 lb.),” notes Jose Nuñez, who remains on board as Dolton’s manager. “Bringing Al Haymon into the picture makes it that much easier for those fights to happen, and for Domonique’s career to advance at the pace we prefer, instead of fighters looking for reasons to avoid him.”

Dolton’s last ring appearance came in November, scoring a rust-shaking six-round decision win following an 18-month hiatus. Attributing to the extended ring break was an untimely injury suffered earlier this year, which forced his withdrawal from a planned June clash with Hugo Centeno Jr., which was to air on Showtime’s ‘ShoBox’ series.

Plans call for Dolton to return to the ring on February 6, against an opponent to be determined.
