An opponent has been defined for PABA interim middleweight titlist Dmitry Chudinov (9-0-1, 6 KOs), who will fight this coming Saturday at Wembley Arena in London, England, as a part of Malik Scott versus Dereck Chisora showdown.
Chudinov, 26, who is on a fast roll recently, is penciled for eight against rugged journeyman Patrick Mendy (14-6, 1 KO), four year his younger. Mendy is best known for becoming the youngest fighter ever to claim the big prize at the much ballyhooed Prizefighter Series. Mendy (then 5-4) was just 19, when he won it in June 2010. Chudinov, meanwhile, is coming off back-to-back stoppages over Colombian veteran Milton Nunez and game veteran Grady Brewer.
An entire show is promoted by Frank Warren. Vladimir Hryunov manages Dmitry Chudinov.
