Don King Productions is claiming to have a valid contract over Joe Wyatt, who is in Aarhus, Denmark, and has weighed in (at 153 lbs / 69,4 kg) for his fight against WBA I/C 154 lb champ Reda Zam Zam (153,5 / 69,6). According to teampalle.dk DKP wants to stop Wyatt from fighting. Wyatt´s management claims DKP is in a breach of contract and says that Zam Zam vs. Wyatt goes ahead as planned.
 
Ulf Steinforth´s SES return after the summer / World cup break and promotes a show in Halle (Saale) August 5. SES´ middleweight Dirk Dzemski is at the moment co-challenger along with Lion Mahir for the EU 160 lb title left vacant by Amin Asikainen.
 
EBU cruiserweight champ David Haye´s defense against Belgian Ismail Abdoul has been postponed until July 21 with site remaining London.
 
Hungarian Felix-Promotion will also go on a summerbreak and return in September possibly with jr lightweight Janos Nagy on top.
 
The EBU have decided that all EU fights will be fought over 12x3 instead of 10x3 as have previously been the case.
 
Elite Box Promotion´s two Swedes, Vatche Wartanian and Tonton Semakala, will continue to be trained by Paddy Fitzpatrick, who will keep Berlin as his main base. Vatche and Tonton are next to fight on Elite´s planned September show. Elite also promotes July 14 as usual at the Blue Box in Potsdam.
