BoxingScene.com/Netboxe.com has been informed that the anticipated super middleweight clash between former IBF International champion Sebastien Demers (31-4), and Andre Dirrell (19-1), will be postponed to August 19 at the request of Dirrell's side.
Due to medical reasons, Dirrell had left the Super Six Boxing Classic after two fights, a defeat by split decision against Carl Froch and a victory by disqualification at the expense of Arthur Abraham, who defeated Sebastien Demers.
For his part "Double Trouble" Demers lost his two most recent fights inside the distance. In December 2010 he was knocked out in two by Renan St-Juste, and previous to that, he was stopped in three by Bryan Vera.
