At the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma, super middleweight Andre Dirrell (18-0, 13KOs) stopped Derrick Findley (13-3, 8KOs) after six rounds.
In the first, Dirrell got Findley in serious trouble and nearly put him away. Findley just went against the ropes, covered up and was able to survive. The second was more of the same, with Dirrell just pounding on Findley who did nothing but cover up for most of the three minutes.
Dirrell slowed it up in the third, choosing to box and pick his shots. The fourth, fifth and sixth was more of the same. Findley did little to nothing to change anything that was going on. Dirrell was throwing some slow stiff jabs and justing picking at him. At the end of the sixth, Findley's corner told the ref they were stopping the fight because their fighter was out of his league.
