Top-rated Heavyweight Alexander Dimitrenko (29-0, 19 KOs) is rising fast in the pro ranks and continues to make a name for himself in the sport with a three round drubbing of Luan Krasniqi (30-4-1, 14 KOs) at the Burg-Wachter Castello in Dusseldorf, Germany.
Dimitrenko started slow and was outhustled in the first two rounds, but all it took was one body shot in the third to send Krasniqi down for the count. At 6'8, Dimitrenko is another Eastern European fighter that has the height, mass and reach to present problems to a lot of the current heavyweights.
In the co-feature, another rising heavyweight, Denis Boytsov (23-0, 18 KOs) decisioned Vinny Maddalone (31-5, 22 KOs) over eight rounds of action. Boytsov is not as developed as Dimitrenko, but his status is rising and his promoters are starting to step him up against a higher class of competition.
