Universum Box-Promotion is putting on an absolute treat to SPORT1. On December 4 at Schwerin Sports and Congress hall, the "Battle For Europe's crown" will take place. In a battle for the heavyweight championship, reigning European champion Alexander Dimitrenko (30-1, 20KOs) and his direct predecessor, Albert "The Dragon" Sosnowski (46-3-1, 28KOs) will battle against each other. Now here it is: Four other "big boys" make the event a night of heavyweights!
Ex-Cruiserweight Champion Juan Carlos Gomez (48-2, 36KOs) returns to the ring. He will compete in the heavyweight division against American Harold "Hit Man" Sconies (17-21-2, 11KOs). The "Black Panther" is working after his separation from Arena Box and for weeks he's been vigorously in training and with hopes of a renewed world title chance.
Young hope Manuel Charr (14-0) goes against American Zack Page (21-31-2, 7KOs). Page had defeated Sebastian Koeber from Frankfurt / Oder in his last fight.
Talented military world champion Christian Hammer (7-2-0, 4KOs) and Taras Bidenko (26-4, 12KOs) will collide.
Most particularly, the fans can look forward to a true Olympic champion: Rachim "The Machine" Tschachkijew (7-0, 6KOs). The 2008 Russian gold medalist from the Beijing games, only 15 days after his thunderous first-round victory in Hamburg, returns to the ring again.
Charr, Tschachkijew, and Hammer are all managed by master trainer Michael Timm: "I am delighted that I can come to my home with my talent and my Schwerin European champions. They will offer great performances like those seen in Hamburg."
