Lightweight contender Diego Magdaleno (27-1) had a successful return to the ring Saturday night when he stopped Hevinson Herrera in three rounds.

Now that his fight is over, Magdaleno will concentrate on his stablemate Tim Bradley's upcoming fight. Both fighters are promoted by Top Rank and train under the watchful eye of Joel Diaz.

Bradley faces tough Argentine Diego Chaves at the Cosmopolitan on December 13th in an HBO televised main event. Magdaleno, a southpaw, sparred with Bradley when he had his rematch against Manny Pacquiao in June. He said that Bradley has looked great in camp.

"I sparred with Tim for the Manny fight, not for this one. Tim and Joel have a great strategy for Diego and will take home the win in that fight. I will be ringside to witness his victory," said Magdaleno.

The 28-year-old Las Vegas residence's last fight took place in Pharr, Texas. While Magdaleno appreciated the support he received, he said he hopes to fight at home again soon.

"I would love to fight at home again although the fans in Texas were awesome and really welcoming," Magdaleno told BoxingScene.com. "I want to tell all the fans out there who have followed my career, I will be a champion of the world in 2015. No Doubt."
