Devon Alexander To Scout Maidana vs. Cayo Clash

Rumor has it that WBC/IBF junior welterweight champion Devon Alexander "The Great" will be in attendance for the HBO clash between Marcos Maidana and Victor Cayo at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas this Saturday.  Alexander is coming off an 8th round knock out of former IBF champion Juan Urango.

 

The talent laden junior welterweight division has several big match ups coming up in the next few months.  In addition to Maidana-Cayo, Amir Khan-Paulie Malignaggi and Victor Ortiz-Nate Campbell are slated for May and Tim Bradley makes his HBO debut in June in a welterweight bout versus Luis Abregu.  Maidana was one of several names mentioned as a possible canidate for a fight with Alexander in July or August.
