Derric Rossy Stuns Akhor Muralimov, Mike Lee Wins

Resorts World, Queens, New York - Heavyweight veteran Derric Rossy (30-9, 14 KOs) was too much, too soon for the previously undefeated and untested Akhor Muralimov (16-1, 13 KOs). Rossy outboxed the hard-punching Russian boxer to gain a ten round unanimous decision with scores of 97-93, 96-94, 96-94.

Light heavyweight prospect Mike Lee (14-0, 8 KOs) made his return to the ring, scoring three knockdowns to secure a second round knockout of Gary Tapusoa (6-3-1, 5 KOs). It was Lee's first fight since last July's lackluster six round majority decision win over Paul Gonsalves. For Tapusoa it was his third straight loss inside the distance.
