Controversial British heavyweight Derek Chisora is planning to attend a big boxing event being staged on April 4th at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia. On February 18th, Chisora lost a unanimous twelve round decision to WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko. The fight attracted worldwide attention because of the incident at the weigh-in where Chisora slapped Vitali. Chisora also had a violent brawl with countryman David Haye at the post-fight press conference. During a recent hearing, the British Boxing Board of Control punished Chisora for last month's incidents, by taking away his license to box.

"I want to come to Russia to get acquainted with this great country and I want to watch the fight between Denis Lebedev and Shawn Cox," said Chisora in a statement provided to BoxingScene.com. "Dennis is a great boxer, and we share the same promoter - Frank Warren. I hope that I'm given a chance to talk on TV about these recent events in my life because the gossip and [the] rumors have been incredible. I want to tell the truth and connect all the dots. I hope that my future performances will be broadcast on Russian television."
