British heavyweight Dereck Chisora has graciously admitted the best man won on the night last Saturday when he relinquished his Commonwealth title and Lonsdale Belt to rival Tyson Fury at Wembley Arena.
The 27 year-old was beaten convincingly over the twelve rounds by the Mancunian after coming in at his heaviest weight and seemingly running out of steam from around the fifth round onwards against the English champion.
The Finchley fighter is now planning on putting the result right in a rematch with the Irish descendant after tweeting that a return bout could be on the horizon after impressive ratings for the fight, which was shown live on terrestrial station Channel 5.
"The best fighter won the night. I don't want to take anything away from him. There will be a rematch soon," Chisora said.
It may have been an attempt to reassure his fans that he is aiming to challenge the 6ft 9ins newly crowned champion in the near future as Fury, 22, seems to have his next twelve months planned out.
Promoters Hennessy are potentially lining up an Irish title bout with Martin Rogan, followed by a British defence against David Price or John McDermott and a potential European title bout with Alexander Dimitrenko in 2012.
Chisora thanked his fans in his latest tweet, but may now have to wait in line and prove himself worthy of a shot at the title once again after seeing his dream world title shot againt Wladimir Klitschko fall apart twice and then be totally demolished following his loss to Fury.
"I appreciate all of the support I have been getting. Big thanks to all of my supporters. I'll be out fighting again soon," Chisora said.
