There is only one day remaining before the World Boxing Council's purse bid, for the mandatory fight between challenger Deontay Wilder (32-0, 32KOs) and WBC heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne (24-1-1, 21 KOs).
The sanctioning body stated several days ago that a deal was complete, but that information was denied by both of the involved promoters, Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions and Don King.
Wilder took it to the social networks, pressing on Stiverne to reach a deal with his promoter, King.
"Stiverne, get your man Don King to give us a date and site so we can get this party started. Why [does] King always got to be so difficult....SCARED,” Deontay wrote on Twitter.
