Universum's undefeated heavyweight contender Denis Boytsov (27-0, 22KOs) has recovered from a hand injury and is now back in training with motivation for a serious battle in 2011. Boytsov spoke with BoxingScene's Eastern Euro sister site, Allboxing.ru, and gave various details on his prefered list of opponents for 2011.

"I am training twice a day. A morning run, twice a week for 10 miles, and on other days for 6.5 miles. Then I work on technique: shadow boxing, etc. I am pleased to work with  exercises on the bar. When I'm on my feet I am constantly using weights. In my closet lies a 15-pound vest, I put it on when I use the bar," Boytsov said.

"I need to test my hand in battle. Sparring and training is one thing, but a real combat situation is quite different. But I believe that the [next] opponent will come with a decent number in the rankings."

Boytsov says there are plenty of prospective opponents that he would like to face in his division.

"There are plenty of them. Wladimir Klitschko, who has a belt. Vitali Klitschko is experienced, with a belt. I would also like to meet with Haye. He is cool, fast, energetic and brash. With [David] Tua, because he is powerful and a striker. [Sam] Peter - for the same reason. I'm interested in Olympian [Odlanier] Solis and the style of [Chris] Arreola. [Tomasz] Adamek who is fast and fearless," Boytsov said.
