WBA 'regular' super welterweight champion Jack Culcay (22-1, 11 KOs) from Darmstadt, Hessen, German has secured the home advantage, as his promoter Sauerland Event has come away victorious at today's purse bid for the mandatory fight with  #1 ranked Demetrius Andrade (23-0, 16 KOs), the hard-hitting southpaw from Providence, Rhode Island.

Sauerland Event, who promote Culcay, offered up $425,144.00 - while Banner Promotions, who handle Andrade, dropped $201,000.00.

There were three possible fight dates presented by Sauerland to the WBA - October 22 in Hamburg, October 29th in Berlin, and November 5 somewhere in Germany.

Andrade finally returned to the ring back in June after a layoff since last October. He dominated and stopped tough contender Willie Nelson in the twelfth round in his Showtime televised debut from the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York. Nelson was down four times in the fight before it was waved off.

Culcay retained his title last December with a dominant twelve round decision win over Dennis Hogan. He came back to action in April, and stopped once-beaten Jean Carlos Prada in nine round of action. Culcay's sole defeat came at the hands of Guido Pitto by way of split decision in 2013. Cuclay avenged that loss in the same year with a twelve round unanimous decision.
