Luis Orlando del Valle continues his comeback trail as he takes on Juan Jose Beltran this Saturday evening at Auditorio Municipal in Comerio, Puerto Rico, roughly one hour south of San Juan.
Both fighters made weight for their feature attraciton, which airs on Univision Puerto Rico as part of the "Boxeo Al Maximo" series. del Valle (19-2, 14KOs) tipped the scales at 134 lbs, while Beltran was slightly heavier at 136 lbs.
Bayamon's del Valle has been out of the ring since his 8th round knockout win over Roberto Castaneda this past March in Caguas, Puerto Rico. His bout with Beltran (29-24-3, 18KOs) is a rematch to their clash last November, in which del Valle won by 4th round knockout.
Also on the show, Kevin Nieves (8-1-1, 4KOs) looks to extend his unbeaten streak to four in a row as he faces Miguel Soto (12-6, 12KOs) in a scheduled eight round clash. Both fighters weighed in at 135 lbs.
The show is presented by Promociones Miguel Cotto - with its founder in the final stages of training for a November 21 showdown with Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez in Las Vegas - along wit Hector Soto's H2 Entertainment and Roc Nation Sports.
