Unbeaten super middleweight prospect and Olympic gold medal winner James DeGale is giving Carl Froch a real chance to stop the iron-chinned Arthur Abraham in the fall, but says it won't be an easy task. Froch takes on Abraham in the third stage of Showtime's Super Six Boxing Classic. DeGale had previously picked Mikkel Kessler to win a close decision over Froch in Denmark.

"Do you know what, I called it right. I thought it was gonna be close and I thought Kessler was gonna get the decision because it was in Denmark. It was gonna be close whatever way it went, but I called it in Kessler's favour. Remember, it was a good paced fight and they both got hurt. Maybe Carl could've thrown a bit more when Kessler was in trouble, but it's easy to say that when you're outside looking in," DeGale told Gavin Glicksman of The Sun.

Abraham is another tough fight for Froch. DeGale gives him a real shot to score a knockout win, although he predicts Froch to win the fight by decision. Froch and Abraham have been fighting over the location to stage the fight. DeGale says the right decision would be to hold it on neutral ground.

"Abraham's another tough fight. I think Carl can knock him out but he's a tough guy and again I think it depends where it's held. I doubt it'll be in Nottingham. I've heard it will be a neutral ground and that's probably the best way to do it. It's all to do with your promoter. If you've got a good one, he'll be able to wiggle it and get you the fight at home," DeGale said.

"But as I say, because it's in a big tournament and they both need the win, it's probably going to be on neutral ground. I fancy Froch to win, but I can see it being on points only."
