Richard Schaefer, Golden Boy Promotions CEO, believes that Oscar De La Hoya will stop Manny Pacquiao in brutal fashion when the two fighters meet on December 6 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao, the current WBC lightweight champion, will move up by two weight divisions to 147-pounds to face De La Hoya. After Pacquiao, Schaefer says De La Hoya will have one or two more fights.

"Oscar's going to see how he feels after this fight," Schaefer told Setanta Sports. "Assuming everything goes well and he feels good then I think he is going to have maybe one or two fights. I actually think he will knock him out in a rather brutal fashion."

The first post-Pacquiao fight with come against Ricky Hatton, who De La Hoya promotes. Schaefer would like the fight to take place at Wembley Stadium. He already spoke with Ray Hatton about the fight.

"Assuming that Ricky Hatton beats Paulie Malignaggi [on Nov. 22], which will be no easy fight, then I think a Hatton-De La Hoya showdown is still a very real possibility and I have already had some conversations with Ray Hatton about that match. Wembley Stadium would be the dream location," Schaefer said.
