Price (21-3, 18 KOs) faces Christian Hammer, as part of the undercard to Chris Eubank Jr.’s challenge of Renold Quinlan for the IBO super-middleweight title, over 12 rounds on February 4.

And Boxing Scene has learned that the WBO European belt owned by Hammer (20-4, 11 KOs) will be at stake in their showdown which doubles up as an official world title eliminator.

Hammer, 29, is German-based but was born in Romania. Four years younger than this Saturday’s opponent, he won a split decision against Erkan Teper –– who Price was knocked out by in July 2015 for the European title before it was discovered that Teper was taking performance-enhancing substances –– back in October in Germany as he handed the disgraced heavyweight his first defeat.

Price’s clash with Hammer for the latter’s WBO European heavyweight title tops a stellar supporting cast to Quinlan vs. Eubank Jr.

Andrew Selby challenges Filipino flyweight Ardin Diale for his WBC International title over 12 rounds, Adam Etches and John Ryder clash in a mouth-watering super-middleweight showdown for the vacant IBF International crown and Kid Galahad returns up at featherweight, targeting a world title shot later on in the year as he takes on New York-based Ghanaian Joseph Agbeko.

Meanwhile, Chris Kongo will box on the card and there will be action for Kid Galahad’s gym-mate Jordan Gill, Joe Jackson Brown, as well as Steve Goodwin-managed duo Lucas Ballingall and Jordan Dennis.
