British contender David Price (19-2, 16KOs) would jump at the opportunity to fight Deontay Wilder (33-0, 32KOs) for his WBC heavyweight championship. Both Wilder and Price are Olympic bronze medal winners.

Two years back, Price was viewed as a rising force in the heavyweight division. Then he suffered back to back TKO defeats to Tony Thompson. He's quickly rebuilding his career with four consecutive wins.

Price is not highly ranked by the World Boxing Council, but reveals that a fight is being put together where a victory might get him a decent ranking with the WBC.

Wilder is back on Saturday night in his hometown of Alabama, where he makes the first defense of his title against Eric Molina.

"Here and now, I have my own path to focus on and I am not highly ranked by the WBC, compared to the others. But you're not going to turn down any chance to fight for a world title, especially a prestigious one like that. We're working on something and there should be some news very soon about who I fight next. And that could move me right up their rankings," Price told Sky Sports News.
