Monterrey's Arely "Machine Gun" Muciño successfully conducted made the first defense of her IBF flyweight crown, winning by way of a ten round unanimous decision over Venezuelan Carolina "Fiera" Álvarez. As if she was a hunter chasing their prey, Mucino was stalking her opponent with hard shots from the very first round and scored a quick knockdown. Alvarez beat the count and lasted until the end while taking punishment. HG Boxing presented the event at the Gym of the UAT in Tampico, Tamaulipas.

With this result, Muciño remains unbeaten with a record of 12 wins, 7 of them by knockout, and one draw. While Alvarez ends up with 10 wins, 5 knockouts, four defeats and one draw.

On The Undercard

Junior middleweight David "Destroyer" Lopez became the new International champion of the World Boxing Association (WBA), after winning a twelve round majority decision over Michel "Bravo" Rosales. It was battle of power and hard punches, with Lopez getting the win on two of three scorecards. The cards were 117-110, 116-112 and 114-114 for the draw.

Sergio "Tama" Torres won the Fedecentro super featherweight championship of the World Boxing Association (WBA), after winning a unanimous decision over Nicaraguan Marlon "Rata" Aguilar. The scores were 106-102, 105-103 and 107-101.
