According to reports from the WBC, David Lemieux (25-1-0) is defending his WBC International middleweight title on November 17 in Montreal. At least that was the information that was communicated to the sanctioning body from Lemieux's promoter, GYM. In his most recent fight, fought at the Bell Centre on April 8th, Lemieux suffered the first defeat of his young career, getting knocked out by Marco Antonio Rubio at 2:36 of the seventh round in middleweight world title eliminator. Last month, including Lemieux served as training partner in California for Sergio Martinez. It remains to be seen whether the return of Lemieux will remain on that date or later in the fall.

Any news on David Lemieux? Last year and early this year, this kid was one of the hottest prospects in boxing, and for good reason. Last news I heard about David was that he was doing some sparring with Sergio Martinez not too long ago...

Are saying that David Lemieux is a stinky Canadian punching bag ?
1. That would be racist **** !
2. Pray that you will never be in the ring with Lemieux.
That 22 year old kid is known for his unbelievable power, anyone who is not a racist and knows a thing or two about boxing is aware of this.

Why did they wait so long? He didn't go unconscious and his problem has always been that he never had enough rounds.
